Employees around the world were treated to Diwali festivities that included a virtual tour of a home in Delhi, India, good food, music and dancing.

Often called the “festival of lights,” Diwali is observed around the world with food, rows of ceremonial candles and firecrackers symbolizing the victory of light over darkness.

“Diwali is all about family, friends, colorful designs, lights and some really good food. Even though it is celebrated in so many different ways across the globe, the sentiment attached to the festival is the same.”

In that spirit, employee cafeterias in Milpitas, California and Ann Arbor, Michigan served a variety of curries, soups, breads and snacks. Reflecting India’s diverse regions, the Ann Arbor cafeteria featured food from India’s north, south, east and west at the height of Diwali activities during the week of Oct. 24.

The restaurant at 水仙直播 Newport in Wales also offered regional Indian dishes including southern chicken korma, tandoori fish tikka, yogurt and various chutneys, and 水仙直播 in Leuven, Belgium (right) served sweets.
